did this happen? I guess not, since we already had the big ass hammer via beth blog for the PS3 community, but is it PS3 title support coming at all?

That is to say, every other patch Beth proclaims it when submitted to Sony/MS. So no hope this week?

Beth - you do realize there are still lots of users in the 'I cant go in the water' mode right? Not everybody runs to your subforums to find fixes for you title updates.

Well, we know Dawnguard will be a bit late so they said lately, as if it weren't late already. They haven't given the word for a date that 1.7 drops on consoles though.

but they did, 1.7 was supposed to ship this week.

The Steam beta for 1.7 is now complete, and our current plan is to submit the update to console manufacturers this week. We'll let you know when it's available on Xbox LIVE and PSN.
So I wonder if its coming at all?

We deserve to know at least if they have completely [censored]-canned support here.

Once they submit it to MS and Sony, then it's out of Beth's hands.

BUt they haven't - when have they ever submitted and not told us the minute they did?

Dunno, I'm a new fan of Beth. Don't know their practices yet.

I'd just like to take their words at face value and just think it'll be ready when it's ready.

But the other person is right, MS and Sony update certification tests don't have a very reliable time frame. Could take two days, could take a week.

That quote says that they have. Then when the platforms have approved and released it, GStaff will let it be known that the update is available.

No, the quote says 'their current plan is to submit' - meaning they have not submitted.

I like how people guess what other people will do even if they don't have any idea what they are going to do :)

No. You are incorrect.
The quote was made on 30 July. That means, as of 30 July, their plan was to submit.
You cannot, from available info, say they have not done so. Nor can any forum member or other non-Beth employee say that they have.
We do not know. We shall wait and see.
Any info on 1.7 will appear in the pinned thread.

And that's as much as anyone knows, positive or negative. To speculate either side of the aisle is nothing short of ranting or flamebaiting.

Well, you can get from that what you will. I see it for face value. The update will be submitted this week.

Then after the approval of the platforms, be that a day or two or a week or two it will be available on XBL and PSN. When that is exactly, is up to the platforms themselves.

Once the platforms have approved and gone live with the update. Then Gstaff will announce it to be available. I see it nothing more or nothing less than that.

I think the working week is over, hence the question.
Indeed. Now you just need to wait on MS and Sony.
