So suddenly whenever I start up Skyrim it just crashes near the end at the bethesda opening logo. There is no error message at all, and I KNOW it's not the mods, since I already tried removing all of them from my data folder. I also tried a full reinstall of the game and it would still crash the exact same way. I've already tried the sound thing, and that didn't work either. Please help me out here.

I fixed it... Appearently I had a program in the background called Overwolf which was causing the CTD's.

Well, at least you found what was wrong with your instance of the problem. I'm having this problem, too, but I don't have anything called Overwolf running in my processes.

I'll keep digging.
