This may be a question with an obvious answer. I want to move my save files for a particular character's game out of Documents/My Games/Skyrim/Saves, but hold them in a completely different folder for possible future play. Since I know how to do this, my question is this...Has anyone run into issues doing this? Corrupted saves or the like? I am not using any mods at all, so that won't be an issue.

I simply renamed the Skyrim folder to oldskyrim along with the conguration files. It's still there in Documents but I could put them somewhere else. If you want to use the same configuration setting, I would copy them over to the documents file and start up the game which will re-generate a new save file setup.

Of course, why not? I always move my older saves to a separate folder, or just move characters which I'm not playing at the time. It helps the game and reduces lag, at least for me.
