I like playing as a Nord mostly. I love the way fur armor looks on my Nord character. I figured with a region as cold as Skyrim, more people would wear fur or something that insulates more. You'll see a woman walking around outside with the tavern outfit on with that low neckline and stuff. Must be cold... but she's a nord and has some resistance to the cold I guess.

I'd love to see some armor with fur on it. Even if it is variants of current armor. Ebony armor with black warewolf fur over the shoulders. Maybe bring back the Wolf and bear armor we saw on the Bloodmoon expansion on Morrowind.

You've kill countless Saber Cats and used their Fur. Why not make suit of saber cat leather armor? Thick fur over the Shoulders to make you feel warm even in a blizzard in Winterhold.

Sometimes I wish I could use more fur with armor to get that look of being someone who can survive in the harshest conditions in Skyrim.

If you are on the PC then i recommend the Immersive Armors mod, and Cloaks of Skyrim

Winter is Coming also has some great fur cloaks but doesn't change the armor IIRC

Yeah, more fur and chainmail armor would be nice. Something more Vikingish.

Bethesda's logic was that Skyrim is the Nord's homeland and they have 50% resistance to frost, so they only need to wear half of the clothing a normal person should for cold.

I wish there was more plainclothes/closer fitting armor for the sneaky/lightweight types. Most of it just looks way too bulky in my opinion.
