Not accusing you of anything but like Jason you are good with a gun, and can manipulate people pretty easily. And as much as he fits suspect C you fit suspect A. Again not accusing, just saying that when you make suspect lists, it is a bit suspect to leave yourself off when you fit just as well. And I suppose we had better search the bank.

Alright, full apologies Bear, vote removed. I guess Jenny's list is the thing to go off of for the moment.

Less than an inch.
Soda Pauper

If the width of the blade was less than an inch, I can be assured that the blade that did this would most likely be a pocket knife or a scalpel. Also going with what I said yesterday, since he stab wound was clean, a box cutter couldn't have done this, far too messy. A pocket knife could do a clean stab with enough force and a scalpel could do so very easily as well. A pocket knife and a scalpel are about the same in width, less than an inch.

Because of this, I will again put my vote on Waldo Butters. Like Jenny said, he has the anatomical knowledge to make this kill and has the tool that matches the width and cleanliness of the wound.

Soda, listen up dear. Ben wasn't stabbed with something thinner than one inch. He was STRANGLED with something that left a bruise less than one inch wide.

Soda, while I admire your looks... I can't say the same about your smarts. We're talking about the item used to strangle Benjamin, not how wide the blade was.

D-Danny was killed from the ch-church. I-I think we should check the church for clues. O-obviously it's the most re-recent place a killer was known to be.

So, listen up. I'm still working on our strangler. But I think I have a bead on "Suspect C / Today's Shooter".

Whoever shot Daniel didn't want him talking, that much is clear. They wanted him to shut up, and they wanted him to shut up quick.

Our shooter is Jake Rusk.

His outlook on life is that "problems can be solved with faith... [but] those that can't can be solved with bullets." Seems Daniel was going to give up the whole gig, and that's a problem that can't be solved with faith. There was no peaceful route to take, because he couldn't just saunter over and be like "Hey, Dan, about that whole dropping the dime on us thing? How about you don't do that, eh?" He has also "spent his entire life running away from those that wish to harm him rather than fight." He didn't stick around after he took out Danny boy, he shot him and ran.

He's also not a social person, thus why on the security tape he "stood well away and behind the other two and just watched".

Salvadore Chandler

Now this, this is a man I can respect. He is as large as my pet boar, back in my country, and he even has brains to boot!"

Its obvious that Jake Rusk is our shooter. He doesn't do well in social situations, which would explain why numero tres all those nights ago was being a huge creeper and standing around in the back. He also has a gun. And, why would any one shoot out of a church? Perhaps Jake thought if he commited a sin to save himself within the lords house, he would forgive him. It's pretty clear who our poor little loner bastard is.

Nos vemos en el infierno, amigo.

Salvadore winks

And for my last act, I'll put my vote for searching towards.. The Bank once again! Wow, who would have thought that such a inconspicuous note wouldn't have been labeled with false or misleading information.

No tengo idea...

I do like what the two of you are saying.

Let's search the church and kill Jake.

Tricia Takanawa

Taps her microphone to make sure it works.

I'm standing by the corpse of local businessman Benjamin Rayner, who was shot dead just moments ago by none other than Jake Rusk. The killer's motives are unknown at this point, but local townsfolk are hoping that executing him without trial will bring about some well deserved justice. One thing is for sure though: it likely has something to do with the President's recent education budget cuts. Until next time, this is Tricia Takanawa, reporting live in Lynchcaster for Channel 9 News.

Oh the nerve of this imposter Jake Rusk! I say we strike him down! I change my vote to search the Church now.

This could have been over already, seeing as the kid was probably going to speak. Jake has a lot to answer for.

I don't see the point in searching the church if we are so sure that Jack Rusk is one of the criminals, we would most likely end up finding evidence linking back to him at the church. I say we search the Bank, and I will vote for Jack Rusk because he is the best bet for our shooter. And I have looked it over, and the only people who have something that could strangle someone are Bear, Mel Davis, Bob, and myself. I actually left out a few females because I assumed it would be unlikely for them to take down a man who was struggling to get free, no offense ladies.

Henry Russell

You fools, it can't be Rusk! We still need someone with pen and paper, and we need to figure out how Daniel got the diesel. And then there's the matter of the person with the skill of killing. Too many factors that can't be attributed to one person when Rusk is gone.

What can you tell us about the note? Anything particular about the ink you can tell us, or more specifics about the handwriting? Is it regular paper or does it look older?

Oh, and can we tell where the shooter was? Shouldn't be hard to figure it out from where Ben was through the glass.

And what can we figure out about the bullet? Size, etc.

ooc: I'm not sure if it's on my end, but this little box to reply in is really rustling my jimmies. If I press backspace it decides to move up lines. Happen to anyone else?
