Obsession was an overly expensive perfume by Calvin Klein, also the producer of overly expensive underpants.
Roy Castle was a legend who brought delight to thousands of kids.
Calvin Klein makes expensive underpants.
Therefore dedication wins.

Always get unnerved a bit when I see these articles as it usually paints gamers in a bad light. I have gone 6 to 8hrs at times gaming straight with 2 maybe 3 bathroom breaks lasting 1min. However, i've never gone for a 24hr period of gaming, or more, and always got some sleep.

At what point do you consider it crossing the line from enthusiastic gaming to hard core obsessive gaming?

It always stuns me just how some people can do that. I mean I can play MW3 for a good 2 to 3 or 5 hours maybe but I always get up to take a break or streatch my legs out or go use the bathroom and junk. There's no way I can go 24 or even little alone 94 hours of gamming without food or water I'd get sick---hell I get sick if I don't eat breakfest in mornings or anytime during the day. I just don't see how some people can do it.

*sigh* doesn't eveyone want to put gamers in a bad light? Fact is - nearly everyone is "obsessed" with something...and any obsession can lead to sad tales similar to those in the article on gamers. How many people are obsessed with sports (Pen State anyone?? Now THAT is an example of obsession gone wrong!) but being obsessed with sports is "normal" and even "cool - high five bro!" Sports fan puts on a jersey, paints their face, goes to a game & they are "awesome". Gamer puts on a cape and goes to Comic Con and they are "hopeless nerds" and "creepy".

How many divorces result from one spouse being a workaholic? Yet again society loves a workaholic! Sit at a desk for 14 hours a day & make lots of money and you are admired your are "driven" - sit at a desk playing Morrowind 14 hours a day and...you get it :wink:
