OK so yesterday I was playing Skyrim absolutely fine, no problems at all on high settings with ENB, a couple of mods and Dawnguard installed. So when I'm finished I save and quit. Today I load up the game and Skyrim has extremely long loading screens (I don't think it will load at all, I just Ctrl Alt Del out and notice that it's listed as 'not responding' but If I switch to the game it then loads up but its laggy as hell) and a massive frame drop to boot. No problem, figure it's to do with mods or something so I reinstall, completely clean, delete all mods disable Steam Cloud, start a new game... still utterly broken. Extremely long loading screens and epic lag. Also for some reason, the Launcher now sets my default settings as medium when it used to be high.

Any ideas?

Well I just realised that my Graphics drivers were slightly out of date, updating solved the problem. Very strange that it was working for a while before though.
