The sad truth:

Post » Fri Aug 10, 2012 2:24 am

This game wont even have half of the content in Daggerfall.

And before you all get your panties in a wad.... I don't mean sq. km. playable area.

I mean everything from reputation to witch covens to skills/spells/abilities and so on and so forth.

Am I wrong?

I think no.

You really should read up on what is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truth and what is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conjecture. It will make your arguments much more valid.

Also, while you might have a point, somewhere in the conjecture, MMO's are constantly evolving games. They're always adding content from the base form.

That's it? That's the basis for me not telling the truth? MMO's evolve?

At least it's an effort.

You don't KNOW the truth. You're guessing. You're not right. You THINK you're right. I suspect you very well know this and are just trolling me at this point, so I'll now stop falling for it ;)

Oh no, a different game doesnt have the level of depth as an earlier game in the franchise released nearly 20 years earlier!

No, see... I'm prophesying based on truth, justice and mercy. AKA I do know. I don't troll the forums, sir.

Look at every TES game ever made. It isn't rocket science.

Don't "Correct" me. I said Exactly what i wanted.

You cant compare a single player game to an MMO. It goes without saying that an MMO won't have any complexity comparable to a single player game because the mechanics of a single player game rarely balance out in a multiplayer environment. Apples and oranges. While both fruit, they are not the same.

What, that they got better each time?

Sorry; I apologize.

But you just said exactly what I said, except you said that I'm not allowed to say it.

Ah, another doomsayer! Welcome!

The soapbox rental is to your right, but please, only one box and bring it back after your performance.

John over there has a nice collection of bells, if you'd like one or your old one isn't good enough anymore.

Oh, and there's still room in the body sign painting class tomorrow. We could use a couple of "The End is Nigh" signs.

Well. That's all I guess. Welcome to the den, then.

Don't worry, it isn't just your precious MMO. This is just another notch on the belt of disappointments.

But with an MMO, it should have more room to include more breadth & depth. Well, at least because they aren't doing it with SP.

How cute. If Osarion hadn't caught you already, I'd have kept ya for myself.

Oh? You are still free?! You know, I've got this beautiful bridge, it's made of stone and it's wet and cozy, so...

Ok, on a more serious note. I think everyone here can understand and to some extent shares your fears. But it will you do better next time to not label your fears as truth and wait for more information before you are disappointed.

It's not bad keeping one's expectations in check when it comes to MMOs, of course.

It's not like it's up in the air, though. It's like I would put everything I own and even (probably to some's content) my life on it. It's a certainty.
