Hopefully they're all still there and functioning. I haven't had many issues with my PS3 version since 1.4 so I'm going to wait on downloading 1.7 until it's confirmed that the fortify restoration loop and the Oghma Infinium exploit are still functioning, mounted combat isn't worth losing the closest thing we PS3 players get to "God Mode".
So long as we can read books in our inventory Oghma will never be fixed it simply isn't possible without rewriting how the item functions, removing book shelves or some other major revision that will cause additional problems.
I would be pretty unhappy if they patched some of the exploits. As long as they aren't making my game unplayable, so far they aren't, they should stay. For console players, these exploits are the next best thing to mods/console that PC users get. Makes the game a bit more interesting when you've done pretty much everything legitimately.
Exactly, anyone complaining about these glitches, especially on console versions, is ridiculous imo as they are fully optional and as stated above, the closest thing we have to mods. Plus it's a single player game.
The Oghma Infinium glitch is one Bethesda shouldn't try to fix. I don't know that the fortify restoration glitch can be fixed without breaking something else.
