Raising Armor Skills to 100 on level 1 - Ideas?

So ... I'm currently in the process of raising all my Breton's skills to 100 without ever levelling up, starting quests, or triggering map markers aside from big cities.
It seems that with a bit of patience everything works out fine except for the 2 armor skills. (And those don't even have master trainers accessible under my self-imposed limtations - what was Bethesda thinking? I ought to get my money back.)
The trouble is that my conditions don't allow for the easy power-levelling - no good potions (so no ungodly health regen), no good enchantments (so no free restoration), and really low armor values.

The current plan is to just create a crazy big pile of restore health potions to complement the equipment (fortify health so my character can survive stronger attacks) as well as fortify health potions but I'd really like to use an easier approach. Any ideas?

Try finding the Transmute spell tome and carry around a pickax. When you come across an iron ore vein, dig away. The game raises your armor skill based on the value of created weapons/armor or the value of any improvement added (I think). Make jewelry at a forge, it will be the most expensive thing you can create at level one. But it will take a LONG time. You're kind of limiting yourself here in my opinion.

If I may ask, why are you not exploring/leveling/questing?
