My friend bought me a PC copy of Skyrim from a retail store and I'm trying to get it working, however steam is asking for a Product code and I can't see it anywhere. I know ages ago they used to be called cd keys and printed on the inside of the manual, however I can't see it anywhere. Can someone please help?

My cd-code/product-code is on a white sticker, on the inside of the plastic dvd-case, just below the dvd.

Sometimes dvd-boxes are shipped without the code by mistake. The only way to get that fixed is by returning/swapping the product. But it happens very rarely. Just look again. Good luck.

there is no white sticker with the activation key. I'm going to have to go back into the store tommorrow and get it sorted. I have also sent an email to Bethesda. Thanx for the help ppl, hopefully I'll be able to play my fave game soon.
