Hey gamesas I've been having some problems with seeing what items I am getting and what and certain things that are displayed around the edges of the HUD. Could you guys somehow make it possible to adjust the screen size in game? It has really gotten tough to keep track of what I'm getting or what has happened to my things because the text is always at the edge of the screen the part that I can't see.(This has nothing to do with 4:3 or any other resolution I have tried adjusted the screen resolution with the ps3 and it doesn't work.)

This would be useful. The TV always cuts off the edges of my screen because it's ancient.

R3 is the button used to look around etc. When you press it, you can change to 1st or 3rd person. To get looks closer / farther in 3rd person view, go to 1st person view first, then press R3 and KEEP it DOWN. Then with L# (left stick) move up / down to get closer / farther view, and when you release right stick (R3) , it stays in the position.

Are you connecting to the TV with a HDMI cable?

I remember reading a thread like this months ago, so don't expect beth to fix it. I think the fix might be to use older ps2/ps1 av cords then setting the ps3 to 480 in the display menu

Just tested it, forgot 480 was too much for older tv's. Also tried the 4:3 and got the feeling my whole backround wasn't beeing shown.I think you guys are SOL sorry >.<

Edit- Try the 4:3 setting on your ps3 if you are using older cables the HUD might be visible. good luck
