When Xbox shows there's a new update to Skyrim, it simply freezes and doesn't work anymore until I eject the cd and everytime I try to play it, it freezes at the same place. So I can't play it and can't get the new update.

P.s: It started with the 1.6

That's an XBox issue from the sounds of it, not Skyrim.

It would be worth deleting all previous patches, wiping your HDD cache and trying again. If the problem persists, try creating a temporary XBox Live account and downloading the update through that. Patches aren't tied to individual users, and if your profile is slightly corrupt you may have difficulty connecting to Live.
