Hello Everyone,
It has been a while since I have played any TES games and recently I recieved TES III, IV and V for my birthday. After I installed them all to my computer I was reminded how buggy TES games can be, so I was wondering which patches I should get for the series of titles so I can play them at optimal performance and with minimal crashing or errors?

Besides patches I was also wondering if all the titles are compatible with a joystick/Standard USB Controller? As I have medical conditions and I cannot sit in a typical desk chair.

And if I may be as so bold to ask if there are any hardware or software issues I should be aware of that need fixing before playing the games? Example: A lot of people are telling me that TES V: Skyrim has a soundcard error and to play the game you have to turn your sound quality down to prevent crash.

I am sorry for so many questions and I don't mean to be demanding, I just rather try to cover and concerns or issues I may have in one thread rather than flood the forums with individual questions. (If that makes sense)

It has been a long time since I have traversed the lands of Tamriel and I am wanting to return with as little pain as possible XD
