im currently making red corsairs army with a twist. the minority of troops will be normal chaos guys while the rest are a collection of different imperium chapters with a red X over their original inconography.

im yet to start but i want these guys

1 huron blackheart
1 chaos marine squad
1 havoc squad
2 marine squad which i will customize to be made of several chapters
1 renegade blood angels squad (cause my BF is a blood angels player so i want to have something cool as if we're rival chapters)
1 renegade blood angels captain as my secound in command

vehicles:
1 chaos rhino
1 renegade imperium land raider (space wolves cause his secound choice of army was SW)
6 chaos bikes (hounds of huron (crct?)

I used to collect Dark Angels, never played but painting them was a lot of fun. I played one game once with my Tau army, I seem to remember winning.

I have such a HUGE Imperial Guard army
Last time i counted i had near 5000 pts

I have more than 200 Guardsmen and more than 20 vehicules (includes tanks and transports)

And it is far from stopping from getting bigger.

i think i have almost three companies of Valhallaian guardsmen

Big 40k fan here!

I've thought about getting an army for some time, but it's way too expensive a hobby for me. Besides, I don't like painting. I'm a big fan of the universe though. I've spent a great many hours on both Dawn of War games (Dawn of War 1 with Firestorm Over Kronus installed is best), greatly enjoyed two playthroughs of Space Marine and I love the Horus Heresy novels. Most of them anyway, a few of them are really bad. The stuff written by Dan Abnett, Graham McNeill, Ben Counter and Aaron Demski-Bowden is pure gold though.

I love the Fluff, I love the novels, epically gaunts ghosts, and I love the dawn of war series.

No, it's the symbol of Clan Gangrel, the shape shifting vampires from the World of Darkness setting. It would serve just as well as a Space Wolves banner though.

The Space Wolves are one of my favourite Legions though. Them, and the World Eaters and Thousand Sons.

almost a 1000 alas their not full companies, that would be over 5000 if we are going by 40k companies, in real army terms it would only be about 600

I just finished reading, Dark Apostle and I just started on Dark Disciple. Those books are pretty good.

I want to start an army, probably Chaos, but I'm not sure what legion to pick. Kinda torn between Iron Warriors and the Word Bearers.
