Makes me wonder if these statistics prompted the xbox exclusivity.

Maybe it's a secret portal like in Oblivion. We just have to find the guy to start this quest so we can see the results ;)

One thing to keep in mind is that all sales directly from Steam are not included in the PC sale statistics. That's a lot of sales, especially with the discounts it has had so far. I think Skyrim has been on the 1-10 top seller list constantly since release, I don't think any other game has ever done that.

Also, http://i.imgur.com/PTWAQ.jpg is 4 days after the release of COD MW3.

Part of it would have been the exclusivity, but part of it may just have been the popularity of the Xbox.

Still, Microsoft must have one big grin. Bethesda don't have anything to complain about either, with those sales figures!

I don't agree completely. Sure this kind of sales show how popular Skyrim is but this doesn't mean that everthings perfect. How many bugs and glitches does the game got? Mostly on PS3, I will tell you it's to much! You have to deliver both quality and quantity. In this case quality is not perfect. Like Fallout New Vegas (I know not the same studio!), but still to much problems. Don't get me wrong I love Fallout NV and Skyrim, but they have to do better next time.

Steam stats for PC aren't included, BTW.
