Falmer vs Dwarves - DLC ideas

Post » Mon Aug 13, 2012 2:18 pm

Wouldnt it be cool if in the next DLC - there would be an addition of 2 new archetypes with their own unique story. Falmers would be the rebels, taking payback after a millennia of torture and cruelty, the Dwarves focusing on renewing their empire and existence in skyrim after coming out of hiding.

Opens of portals of opportunity for new weapons, dwemer technology, and the "intelligence" attribute would be brought back into having a host of new uses.

The falmer would regain their intellect - and Auriel would provide guidance, weaponry and magic to fuel the rebellion and re-establish them.

No. No bringing back the dwemer. Without the mystery surrounding them they'd just be boring.

And they aren hiding. They removed themselves from the same plane of existence that Tamriel is on.

The Dwemer aren't in hiding. They ceased to exist back in the First Era.

That's the main theory. No one's totally sure, though.

Other than a very heavy hint in a College side quest, a few developers stating it sometimes before Oblivion, and very heavily suggested in Morrowind.

But it's never outright stated, so it's still a theory. It's most likely true, though.

Most things never are outright stated in-game.

No no and no. No DLC about the Dwemer. I probably love the Dwarves and the Dwemer culture and history more than alot of people but just bringing them back out of no where wouldn't make any sense.

I wouldn't mind something with the Falmer but not about them returning to their former glory of the Snow Elves.

And RomanNumeral is correct, the Dwemer aren't and never have been in hiding. In thier quest for knowledge, enlightenment and immortality they completely disappeared and became entirely extinct.

There is one Dwemer left...http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Yagrum_Bagarn
I dont see a DLC being made about him though, and i hope they dont bring them back.

Yeah, he's way too much for a DLC. The Elder Scrolls VI: Bagarn. Now that is something I want to see.
