Dremora athestic

Post » Tue Aug 14, 2012 6:19 am

I am really disappointed by the look of Dremora. I know they don't play as big a roll as in Oblivion, but still. I guess my beef with it is that, in Oblivion, they actually looked like demons, actually looked unique. Now they just look like Dark Elves with weird glowing war paint.

Does anyone else share this sentiment.

No I think they are amazing and in my opinion they look exactly the alien and demonic way.

I think they look exactly just like dunmer, the look itself isn't bad, I just wish they had a different look to make them feel more unique and alien.

Agreed. I loved the way Dremora looked in Oblivion. In Skyrim I just see them as Dunmer with horns and red paint.

I think I still like Morrowind's the best. Some of the ones in Oblivion work, others suffer from the same pudgy face syndrome every other NPC has in that game. Skyrim's just look like tattooed Dunmer in daedric armor.

They definitely put more effort into making them look unique in Oblivion.

Same here. Morrowind's looks more unique and demonic. Oblivion's looks like a joke due to the face thing. For Skyrim's like you said. It looks like a Dunmer.

Dunmer? I always thought of the Altmer... More like a hybrid of the two perhaps. I'm no programmer or expert or anything but... is it really THAT DIFFICULT to not have them all look the SAME. The one's in Oblivion had different hair styles, and Facial paint colors.

Not that big of a deal, and I still like them, they seem to have a more noble look with the long laid back hair.. But I just can't occasionally look at them and think every once and awhile when bored... *rushed lazy work*...

Dremora: Bethesda? You pathetic weaklings! You dare rush our magnificent benevolent appearance with your mortal time restraints?! YOU WILL SUFFER!!!! RRAAAGHHHHHHH!!!

They are not called programmers, they use 3d modeling tools, not coding. I'm not sure what they are called, but it's not called programming, maybe modeling perhaps.

Dremora in Skyrim use Dunmer assets IIRC, so that explains the similarities.
