If the dawn(guard) never comes...

Dearest Bethesda,

If we are to be put at bay indefinitely regarding the DG DLC, how about a smaller one?

Specifically there are two things I think you could deploy on PSN pretty easily:

1. The barber. With all the useless and (by me anyway) hated freebies like kill cams and horse combat, why is the single feature they've added I am remotely interested in bundled into a DLC that we will never get?

Seriously, the barber may have been the most universally coveted feature request across your last six releases (FO and TES titles). Any you stick it in a botched DLC that 1/3 of your customers can't even get? Talk about salt in the wound.

Just make the barber available in a DLC now. If you're still too greedy to give us PS3 users a real boon, then make it a 3usd purchase.

2. Screenshot functionality. The PS3 has a built in API for screenshots. Make this happen.

That is all.

..and before the torrent of naysayers trickle through informing me they would never do such a thing, my response is: The worst they can do is continue with the status quo. So what does it hurt to ask?

I'd be glad if they made addons for:
Spoiler
dragonbone weapons and the conjure horse spell...

I think those things are pretty safe and would't make the game run worst/slower than it already does...

I would like to see an armor pack DLC. Only reason why I would get Dawnguard is for the armors. I would see it as vanilla armors expanded. Throw in some heavy dark brotherhood armor for those who like to bash in the door. Maybe heavy armor for the guards. Heavy leather and fur amors. Light wolf armor. Something for battlemages. I can't seem to find a sweet spot between looking like a scholar and looking like a heavy armored tank. Since PC has 312,569,001 armor mods, this would be a chance to give something to consoles (360 first, of course, we could get it 7 years later with 1.8) and to show some of those modders how to make some real armor. Many games that don't really need it do it, why not skyrim?

But, What am I saying? They just finished breaking the game by adding horse combat. If they add another set of armor they would make the game blow up. However, I'll just install anything now. Seeing that the game is almost unplayable again

"we are very excited to announce, that new horse armor will be available on PSN for $20" NOOO!!! That's not what I meant
