Victim or Thalmor Spy?

Post » Thu Aug 16, 2012 8:44 am

Not sure if this was already discussed, but does anyone know for sure if the Redguard "Saadia" is really innocent, or a Thalmor Spy? She claims that the Alik'r warriors that are after her are working with the Thalmor, but that seems unlikely considering their history, and I noticed that I seem to be attacked by Thalmor assassins right after I finish this quest if I give her up to the Alik'r leader. So, anyone know for sure? If not, I'd love to see your theories.

There is no evidence from both sides whether she is with the Dominion or not. It's all in what the player believes is right. From my perspective I thought she was innocent up until I ran into their leader at Swindler's Den and was told she worked with the Dominion. Those very words made me turn on her. Though I am not sure if what the Alik'r say is really true, I am not going to take my chances with a Thalmor spy who betrayed her own land. Like you said, I don't see the Alik'r doing that to their own land.

im pretty sure shes a spy. when i got her in a room with the alik'r she pretty much admits it. also the alik'r are hammerfell's version of the stormcloaks pretty much, so i doubt they'd be with the thalmor

As stated by the book "The Great War", Hammerfell has completely kicked the Thalmor out of Hammerfell. If Saadia spoke out against the thalmor, she had no need to flee Hammerfell, everyone in hammerfell spoke out against them. All that proves is that she's lying to you though.

I still think she's exactly what Kematu says she is though.

Thats what I thought as well. What she says just doesnt add up or make sense with what we know about Hammerfell. She plays the innocent thing pretty well.

I'm aware, but I'd rather do whats right. Money's not an issue. I always give her up one way or the other, but I always felt a little bad for her getting paralyzed like that.

I don't think she is a spy, at least not in the sense that she is working for the Thalmor. I do believe the Aik'r who tell you that she sold out a city to the Aldmeri Dominion, but I think she is just trying to flee from the Alik'r at this point. If she truly was a spy for the Thalmor they would have placed her where the Alik'r wouldn't find and possibly expose her.
