This mod adds three new perks to the smithing tree.

*Soul Gem Smithing - This perk does exactly what you'd imagine it does. It allows for the creation and transmutation of soul gems between types. It also allows for the refusing of fragments into a petty gem.

* Spell Scribe - This perk allows you to break down some common spell tomes into scrolls (in case you need a spell and have no magicka left). This perk also allows you to write your own scrolls if you already know the spell. Right now it only works with the following spells: Fireball, SoulTrap, and Magelight. More spells are planned in the near future.

* Staff Crafting - This perk lets the user create several different staves out of fairly common ingredients and an unenchanted staff template.
