I lost it trying to re enter the soul cairn,before that I had already asked Aela to bring it back,I didn't read through it so I didn't know she would only do it once,but I needed to return to the soul cairn to get the dragon.I had been searching around for two days and had gotten mixed awensers,most say you cannot but I have heard of other ways,a wandering woman at night that if you attack her she can give you lycanthropy,from a quest and various other ways,but none have ever really been confirmed or denied.Considering that many of you know the secrets to skyrim I was wondering if you guys could confirm the companions are the only way to contract lycanthropy.

im fairly sure if you contracted it once and then had it cured after you can never contract it again

You get infected during the Companions questline, then you can cure yourself. With Dawnguard installed you can go to Aela and restore your lycanthopy - but only once.

There's no other way. If you already restored lycanthropy and then lost it again, you'll never get it back.

No legitimate way Console can fix just about everything, but it won't help PS3 and XBox players.

Well that svcks,maybe future patches or DLC will change that.
