EA may be sold to private equity firm - guess who ends up wi

Ea is exploring potential sale to "private equity firm" one of them Providence Equity Partners who i think afaik invested 300million in Zenimax thus being a large shareholder.

There are other equity firms in the play but if this goes to Providence, the parasite of the industry known as EA may be over, the dictatorship would fall, if they are prepared to change things in the management however. Ea management is completely incompetent the only thing that leaves them up is simply DICE and because a lot of football sports and need for speed fans are simply lower standard market and any [censored] can get sold, so all the EA does is by having exclusive rights, that's it. Ea management is nothing more than filthy business people with no gaming background, our day has come,

Generals 2 as you know it, has been renamed to simply Command and Conquer and is going to be free to play. I think this is the biggest most epic fail decision ever of EA's history, free to play works only for crappy casual games, this [censored] needs to go away from AAA titles, just search the web, the comments are furious, every C&C fan or ex-fan is appaled by this.

What you guys need to do is vocalize this, write to providence equity firm that it would be a win win situation for consumers and ofcourse providence and ... (ofcourse EA dictators will lose, dumbheads)

This is an awesome opportunity to bring back Command & Conquer to it's former glory among others.

This is a big big thing for consumers around the worlds, sports titles may finally get better and not annulized.

Spread the word around the forums, we need to let people know EA as we know it will be finally obsolete and it's slaves ridden of misery, low pay, ruthless workshifts and stupid idiots managing game design and development process.

You do realise that you have no guarantee that just because it could come under different ownership things would change for the "better"?

I dread to think of the job losses that could happen with a shake up coming with new owners...
