Just wondering if anyone can link me to a mod that's similar to the oblivion mod OOO.

its really just too soon. Not enough very good big mods and the advanced tools are just now starting to get close to completion.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9286 does almost as much for Skyrim as OOO did for Oblivion. New weapons, armors, completely re-balancing gameplay and content, some mods merged in. Granted, OOO had several graphics mods merged in as well as a lot of quests.

Or you may prefer http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10037 which has less bloat and feature creep.

 SkyRe is awesome, I've had it a few days and have used about 80% of the features it brings in, and it makes Skyrim closer to Morrowind than Oblivion was while keeping that fresh modern feel. It's brilliant.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. I just personally don't like it's everything-and-a-kitchen-sink-and-then-some approach, which seems to me an attempt to transform Skyrim into something else instead of just enhancing it.
Of course it all comes down to what you're looking for.

It's just a matter of personal taste, thats what mods are all about.

But in regards to SkyRe, you can load anything you want after SkyRe and it's perfectly compatible, it will just override SkyRe. I'm sure a lot of people know this but many don't still.

For example, I use http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5877 which overhauls food, while it's not compatible with SkyRe's Wayfarer tree but just load it below SkyRe in your load order and you have the food stats you want. I do the same for a few things. This works for any mod, I know someone who prefers some things from ACE and uses them instead of the ones from SkyRe.

The closest thing to OOO would be Morrowloot, but it doesn't add any new armours. However, it works flawlessly with JaySus Swords and other mods that add things. The result is quite reminiscent of that. About the monsters, the Monster mode using the purist lore-friendly version should fill the role. Get your own combination to your own tastes.
