So I'm on the quest where I go to Mahrgath and find evidence and blackmail someone.

I snuck in the room where the guy is sleeping - stole the necklace and now the quest marker is over the guys sleeping. All the journal says is blackmail him.

I tried stealing the key to the keep and then tried planting the necklace on him but nothing changed. There are 3 necklaces....I can place one on him but when I try and place another it says "Quest items cannot be removed."

So what exactly am I suppose to do?

Talk to him?

Wait till he wakes up, then talk to him and show him the amulet.

Hmmm.. I do believe I heard the "D'OH!" from here.


Yeah.. sometimes it's just so obvious. Don't feel bad. I'm pretty sure we've all been there.

I guess it threw me off b/c he was asleep, lol.

You can still talk to him if he's already sleeping, you don't even have to wait until he wakes up. if you put the cursor over him you should get the option to talk. If you take the option he'll wake up right away and you can have your conversation.
