After a while, once a character develops into an unstoppable killing machine, I tend to become more "tolerant" of people and creatures. I won't kill a bear, if it can be avoided. I like bears, what can I say? Foxes, deer, rabbits, et al, get a pass, but, as mentioned previously, if the game required eating, that would change. Well, not foxes, maybe.
I won't kill Paarthurnax, ever, he's just too cool to kill. I *would* kill Delphine, if that were possible, and Elenwyn (in a heartbeat.) I tend to go out of my way to kill Thalmor in general, though; it's just so satisfying, "You are a dog, and I am your master!" Yeah, master this, bozo.
I would never kill a child, even if it were possible. Some things just aren't right, game or no.
In the war, i invariably wind up killing someone on my own side, can't seem to avoid it. I feel badly for it, but it's going to happen.
I will always kill Tullius or Ulfric, since they both really deserve it. "Here, use my sword." You betcha, boss.
I take no pleasure in killing Rikke, but she insists on dying with honor, so I oblige her.
As for Galmar, yeah, he's a goner. Nothing I like better than severing his head and watching it fly off somewhere.
I have a personal code by which i live and it seeps into my gaming. It may not be much, but it's mine, devil be damned.
