So, what armor from earlier do you hope return in the DLC for Skyrim?

Personally I am hoping that there will be a DLC that expands on the Civil War and the aftermath and that they return the Imperial Templar armor.

I liked that armor a lot back in Morrowind too. The closest to that in Skyrim is Tullius's armor.

Armor such as bonemold and Dreugh could be cool, but I don't know if it would fit with skyrim.
Maybe if there was some shop in the grey quarters in Windhelm.

It would indeed be nice to have chain-mail of any sort back, it nicely fills the gap between your somewhat 'Mad-Max'-like leather, fur, hide and so forth, and the sometimes overly heavy-metal glass, plate, dragon-bone and so on... appearance-wise at least. I suppose it went the way of all medium armour.

What I'd really like to see back though is the Knights of the Nine gear, it was a perfect fit for my more civic-minded characters. Surely all you'd have to do is rip off one of the sponsorship patches and rename it 'Eight' armour.

I want he guards armor from the imperial city in oblivion back, that was bad ass imperial armor, the stuff they have on now looks like something from a B movie. That and mithril and chain mail, i have NO idea why those were not in skyrim, it would have balanced out the number of smithable armors on both sides of the tree.
