Vilkas acting bizarre

Post » Sun Aug 19, 2012 7:44 pm

Before this thread gets deleted again, at least tell me why or move it appropriately.

Anyways, Vilkas is behind Jorrvaskr and he stands there all day and night. Whenever I get close to him, he comes to me and initates conversation. I quit the convo, yet he keeps doing it again and again. I think a script has gone wrong or something. Is there anyway I can "refresh" him or fix this? Thanks

Have you tried to go further into the conversation? maybe its a quest, try it... If that doesnt work than just uninstall and than install again your game (but DO NOT press reinstall). Hope it helped.

That usually happens when you have bullied or attacked Jorrvaskr members. He wants to fine you like a guard, but he is no guard so he sort of bugs up. Get out of Whiterun, travel around Skyrim and do not go back to Whiterun for 60 whole days. Make sure you really (fast) travel, no waiting 60 times 24-hours. If nothing, select Vilkas, disable him with the console and enable him a gain: to do so open console, click on him, write disable, press enter, write enable, press enter, close console. If not, load an earlier savegame.

This is normal behavior for both Vilkas and Farkas if you have a high bounty on your head (in any hold). Pay off the bounty if this is the case for you.
