Hunting in Skyrim

Who hunts in Skyrim often and what are some of your greatest Hunting moments?
One of mine was when I sniped a tiny snow fox from a few meters away- he was in the water, and I couldn't even see him- yet I managed to hit him AND set him on fire! (in the water?)

Avid hunter definitely, it fits my werewolf style.
While sprinting in beast form I lunged at a deer, scaring some other elk. I killed 3 in one hit-run attack. Then it spawned some bears and sabres a few meters from the herd of elk.

Needless to say within my 2 and a half minute time limit I walked away with enough leather to improve armor for myself and 2 other companions, as well as crafting new items.
'What a perfect night...'

I love hunting. I actually have a character based entirely around hunting and gathering. Makes for a whole lot of simple fun.

I've had a few great hunting moments. Most involve hitting an animal with an arrow from a long distance away. There was a sabre cat really really far in the distance once. I mean I could just barely see this thing. I wasn't even sure if it was an actual animal or just a rock. I perched myself up on high ground, drew an arrow, steadied my shot and let the arrow fly. It went into the kill-cam animation and followed the arrow all the way as it pierced into the sabre cats neck. It was so awesome! That kill-cam animation made the arrow seem like it was in flight forever.

Nothing like watching a killcam for a rabbit that I shot about a meter away from my character

Basically I love it when arrows hit my food, hate it when it doesn't.

I just shoot hawks out of the sky its extremely fun

Though my best thing was when I hunted and killed a werewolf, then I felt bad so instead I turned into a werewolf and helped out my fellow Lycanthrope

Meh it was probably feral, if so then it needs to be put down. Gives us bad rep.

Killing animals with cart glitches was fun. Push a cart (sneaking) towards a herd of deer or near a bear or something, then jump in it and let it fly. If it hits an animal it seems to kill it. Used to be my old Sabre hunting trick with Aela (learned about the cart kill because she fell onto a cart and killed me with it...).

I do it all the time. Nice pastime in-game. I usually go for elk and foxes, and then I sell their hides to belethor.

Most of my time in Skyrim is hunting. Gutslit is obsessed with it.

Tried it for an archer character it was fun for a while but it was too easy (archery was really useful though).

I love hunting, and it's integral to my Smithy leveling trick. Most epic "hunt"? Kiting Spriggans. There's about 3 around Falkreath, and you can use them to literally sweep the entire Hold of game. Not much into Archery? That's fine, but you better be good at melee. Deer ain't so tough, but there's 50-11 of them, interlaced with a lot of wolves, the occasional bears, and maybe a couple sabercats. Berserker Rage, Dual Wield, and some decent armor. Great way to stack up an ungodly amount of Leathers in a few minutes. Or, if you're in it for teh evulz, almost as fun as overruning the town with Ritual zombies...

I love dragons-hunting most. Nothing can beat the passions and sensation of surrounded by three dragons. Not to mention awesome soundtracks while battling them.

Nice! could you give me some base character info? Like which skills/races and other things? Would really appreciate that :)
