Hey guys.

I am thinking of creating a new character, I am getting bored of my older characters.
So I want an original and creative new build..
And do you guys think i should use the mod that you don't have to do helgen all over again?
The mod is called: Alternate life

I thought of making an Argonian hunter. The only skills I use is archery and one handed. Never goes into a city and survives by hunting and travels by river.

  • A spell-blocker as it is often to referred to looks pretty good. Basically, a mage who wears heavy armour and uses a shield in one hand with magic in the other. From a role-play perspective, this can be because originally High Rock's Bretons were enslaved by the Aldmeri and their overlords placed a ban on armour (not shields) and weapons. This lead to the Bretons there becoming skilled with a shield and some magic.
  • I was at one time planning a rather cool assassin build. Use illusion to unlock "Quiet Casting" and from there learn Bound Bow and Bound Sword. Do not carry around any weapons, besides some dual-daggers if you really want, and use the bound bow even for sneaking. Invest in some destruction too if you want some extra damage for those times when sneaking isn't an option.

Check out my topic called "TES Unknown Class: The Artisan" if you're looking for some alternative play.

Here's the link.

It seems you're looking for something more practical. I've got a good build going on. Using it myself right now. I'm level 42 at the moment. It's set-up for the "perfectionists" that want to do it all on one character.

All you need to do on the side is get yourself an enchantment of 100%+ on destruction, and the rest is up to you.

Also, I learned you can make Daedric armor without having to forge it. That's why it's only up to Ebony.

Your armor should look like this after you enchant it.

Head: Destruction 25%+
Body: Destruction 25%+
Neck: Destruction 25%+
Ring: Destruction 25%+

Aight thanks,
Do you think i should go through Helgen again, or use the mod so I can jump into a city, or in a shipwreck without going through helgen?

Honestly? I always go through Helgen, and if I don't want to become Dragonborn, I make the attack seem like a weird thing that only happens once.

This character build was meant to be Dragonborn, so Helgen would be important for the character, but it's up to you.

The dragon shouts only empower this character and make him/her stronger.

I think i am going to create an Argonian hunter type.
He is stranded with a shipwreck -mod- and he only uses one handed and archery.
He travels by river a lot of times, and he doesn't like cities. He only walks into the cities if he really needs something.
Let's see what's gonna happen.

How about poison blade master specialises in any thing with a handle with a blade attached to it and poisoning it. So specialise on one handed, two handed and alchemy.
