I downloaded Deus Ex: Human Revolution not too long ago from a Steam Deal, and I installed it last week

for some reason it won't launch. When I click on it, it gives me the little prompt with "Play HR" and "Setup HR" so I did setup the first time I launched. The second time I launched I clicked play but everytime I do no window actually comes up. It just stays on my desktop.

Steam acknowledges that I'm playing Deus Ex, I can see it on mu profile, but the game doesn't actually come up. Eventually steam brings me out of the game and shuts down.

Has anyone else had this problem? any solutions?
