Not sure if it's a good or bad feature, will have to wait until i've played it to judge.
It is a good feature since it makes things less chaotic. Having your abilities and gadgets at the same time is just too much utility all at once and can reduce challenge. You can place a trap while blinking or windbalst some guards and throw grenades at others. Just too many things at once can be too chaotic and really defeat the purpose of those abilities' standalone effectiveness.
I dont really have a problem with it providing the controls are responsive. I really would like to see a demo released in the next few weeks to get some time with the systems before diving in on release day.
Bioshock 2 and Dark Messiah did that and people didn't find it as a problem at all because the gameplay was still top notch. And that's the whole point of that design, to make the gameplay better and to make you think and react fast, hone your skills and be creative.
As for the demo it looks like it's not going to happen, at least from what I've been hearing. Bethesda are making a bad move on this one but a lot of people did play the game and found it amazing. Demos are always appreciated but the developers won't go out of their way to make a demo before they finish the game if they are on such a tight schedule. I am sorry but this is a business above all else and we as consumers should be patient if we want quality out of out games.
