I had DG on, did the quest for the DG, then turned it off.

I loaded up a save that I never played DG on. Evil character, finished the DB. I plan on turning DG on again soon to run him through it as a VL.

Anyway, I noted that while in the castle at Whiterun that there is now a Visiting Noble (or Adviser, can't remember) in the main room. He won't talk to me, just says something mean about wanting to be left alone. He's not a vampire (near as I can tell) so it's not some carryover of the DG radiant quests. He's just there, for no apparent reason.

I have no idea what suddenly made him appear or what his purpose is. Has anyone else seen this or know what he's there for?

NVM I finally found it on the wiki. Apparently he's a potential DB target.
