went fetch mail for my mom yesterday for some reason had my dad's name on it but we havent lived with him since i was 6 or 7 ... he doesn't even live in same city

Well, I've been in situations which can compare, but not to that degree. We've had mail delivered that was supposed to go to my grandmother living at the other city of town and I think once we got a letter for my uncle, who's lived in the US the last 25 years or so.

No, I don't think that have ever happened to me before, at least not from what I can remember.

It's important to report when you move to another house, so stuff like this doesn't happen.

Our names get misspelled a lot. That's it.

I still get mail from tenants who lived here like, over 5 years ago? Same with my old place. I was getting mail from people who lived there almost 10 years ago.

My mom still gets junk mail for my dad who passed away in the 1990s (and she's moved twice since then). Lame mailing lists.

Yes. I get mail for some lady that used to live with me. I get mail for my sister-in-law who also used to live with me. I used to send the mail back. But now I just throw it out.

As per the title of the thread ive had tons, the street i live in has a north and south, problem is where my address should be in the north, theres a school, and mail addressed even though it says north and there is no address north still comes here, with someone elses name on it, no idea where that person lives, so the letter would just end up in the dead letter department.

We used to get tons of bills and credit card statements from the people I presume lived in this apartment before us.
