Ebay bans spells, hexes, etc...

Post » Sat Aug 25, 2012 12:27 am

Got a good laugh after reading http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2012/08/22/how-one-ebay-witch-will-cope-with-sorcery-ban/.

On her profile page the seller says that all spells are cast within 48 hours of purchase, and if you are not satisfied with your spell within 5 days, she will recast the spell free of charge.

Thought that snake oil sales crap died out long ago, but I guess not.

I remember seeing an auction on some piece of crap that supposedly had a high level demon inside.

Ebay sells everything from what i've seen, spells, hexes, even pet rocks. Heck, they have http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l2736&_nkw=creepy+doll for your Halloween needs. I think the quoted comment just made me laugh more than usual cause it reminds me of those people saying "give me $1 and you will feel happy."

Yeah, I also don't see how they can ban items. It's the peoples money, let them do with it what they want

But it's still hilarious

If people are stupid enough to buy this crap, they deserve getting scammed.

Everyone knows the mages gus is corrupt, that's why only the newbie can rise through the ranks and become the new guild master in two weeks, even I he shows only the most basic aptitude for magic.

Damn. Now I have to cancel all these hexes and curses I've put on people. The list is too long to fulfill by the 9/1/2012 deadline.

Reminds me of http://www.machinadynamica.com/machina60.htm.

Sure, but not through eBay. If (when) the hexes and spells don't work, the buyer is going to want their money back. And eBay has to deal with that.
