Hotkey another item.

Or drop the item.

what if the item is a spell instead? hotkeying something else does not solve the problem. i want to remove the hotkey, not move it elsewhere.

Move the hotkey from the spell to an iron dagger, then drop the dagger. Why would you want to, though? What is the difference between an unassigned hotkey, and an assigned hotkey you don't use?

To avoid equipping the item unintentionally I presume.

ah thanks, i guess there isn't a proper way of removing them then, at least there's a work around

this, and also i'm a bit of a perfectionist, when i don't want to use hotkeys i don't like seeing numbers next to random stuff

Pc version you can just unfavourite it

this is hotkeys (like 1-8), not favourites
