PC - Dual Monitor Problems

Post » Mon Aug 27, 2012 10:36 pm

Hello,

I have a problem with my current dual monitor set up. I have my PC hooked up to my 50" plasma TV, and a computer monitor hooked up also. I use my 50" inch plasma for gaming on Skyrim and such and my computer monitor for internet and facebooking and such. Right now I use a 360 controller to play Skyrim. Now I honestly think there should be a feature or a program to allow me to be able to have two programs running at once (Google Chrome and Skyrim) so I can use my Keyboard and mouse for Google chrome and my 360 controller on Skyrim. Each time I want to use facebook, I have to minimize Skyrim on my 50" plasma just so I can facebook even though they are on separate screens.

Does anyone know how to cure this problem?

Regards from Solstheim.

Edited.

So your problem is? I'm assuming that you can't use your controller to play Skyrim then without doing anything just grabbing your mouse and using your browser?

If that's indeed the issue. I haven't heard of anything. But it's not really a problem, it's just how it works.

I edited my problem in there.

You've never played a Bethesda game, have you?

If you open up the console first, or even better open up the Steam overlay if it's one of the newer games, Alt-Tabbing works completely fine.

You say that, but it's never worked for me.

1. The feature "fullscreen windowed mode" is getting more common and would allow easy switching

2. Software like DisplayFusion and Actual Multiple Monitors has this feature from what I hear (press a key combo and you'll go to the other monitor).

3. I think Dexpot also has the option to do this.
