Shouting like REAL Dragons

Post » Tue Aug 28, 2012 5:05 am

I was playing Skyrim yesterday when I decided to use all the different shouts, out of a nowhere an Ancient Dragon descends to challenge my superiority. So I decide to use the Call of Valor Shout, I summoned Felldir the Old (spelling) . He starts the battle with Frost Breath, HE SHOUTS LIKE AN ACTUAL DRAGON. Some time later I used my own Frost Breath and it came out so lame...Thoughts?

BTW on my Two Handed Daedric Greatsword have a green arrow piercing a snake, what is that?

First thought, I'm not REALLY a dragon. I just have the soul of one.

Second thought,.. nope, still not a dragon.

I get what you're saying. But I'm happy with how it sounds. It sounds great without being over the top.

This happened to me too. But to my Skyforge steel greatsword. Did anyone knows what it means?

I agree partially, i did get to the point in the MQ (without giving too much away) where we get the last shout of YOL TOOR SHUL, and when my 'tutor' did is so awesome, like a huge flamethrower, i thought i would be the same, and then... dissapointment, i dont understand why it doesnt work like a more powerful version of the flame spell, which IS like a flamethrower, it would be so much better!

However have you ever noticed that when dragons do it they only say 'Yol Shul'... hmmmm

One of my biggest complaints about the Shout system in this game for a while is that Frost/Fire Breath have two variants. Dragons have access to both of them, but we only get a fire/frostball version which isn't particularly impressive to me. I want the cooler version.

Throw in a Thu'um tree, a greater variety of shouts, and the ability to use them in combination (rather than waiting 5 minutes to use one because you wanted to use a different one) and I'd be very happy.

The cooldown being tied to all the shouts in the game is a major let down, and really makes having fun with Shouts hards. Luckily, there's an exploit that removes the cooldown entirely, letting me play skeet with Stormcloaks by combining Slow Time and Unrelenting Force.
