Is poison of slow glitched or omitted?

This one is for you crafty apothecarists. It is my first time playing as one and i'm finding all the different kinds of poisons very useful, minus one. Poison of Slow. It clearly states, "Targets move at 50% speed. This should be a great difference, but i have yet to notice it whenever i use it. On the other hand whenever i use my mage character, i can clearly see the slow effect from my frost spells as the wiki points out. They look like they glide ridiculously slow across the floor, like if they're literally running on ice.

Question, is this a bug or does poison do something entirely different from what i have in mind. Like say, reduce weapon speed?, or is it safe to say that the slow poison effect whas omitted from the final version of the game.

I do believe the slow works but i could be mistaken. I used it on a dragon as it was also my best poison and i thought he slowed but with something that big it's kinda hard to tell.
