Do you really feel like a Dovahkiin?

For me, I feel like an extraordinary warrior/mage. I rarely used shouts except for Become Ethereal and Unrelenting Force. I bet a single town guard can slay a dragon if he was smarter. Knowing when to bash/stagger then just slash his way to victory. Heck I maybe a Dovahkiin but a bear can easily maul me and a Giant can send me to Masser.

As a Dovahkiin, I don't really feel like "Having the soul of a dragon and the body of a mortal", I feel like someone who can use Dragonrend. The fire breath shout in this game is a joke when compared to actual dragons. It's just one short blast instead of the continuous version like all of the dov's. Another thing is shout cool downs. Does it really take 3.33 (in-game) hours to yell FO KRAH DIIN? I know it's for balancing purposes, but still. I can type tgm and become a greybeard or install a mod that allows me to shout like a dragon.

But there's something missing in this game. I feel like shouts were not fully developed. Maybe except a few like Storm Call, Animal Allegiance and Soul Tear. I mean does Throw Voice has to be a Dragon Shout? I don't even see dragons using this or Become Ethereal, Whirlwind Sprint, or Disarm.

Oh, and you're all imposter Dovahkiins. A true dovahkiin is a Nord Male Preset 1 who wears Studded Armor, Iron Gauntlets, Iron Helmet and Iron Boots. /joke

Thats all you are really, some guy that eats Dragon souls for lunch and can use shouts. nothing much else special about you by game and lore  one would think you'd be a great political/cultural figure. but you fetch the mead ;p

the only instance where I felt like I mattered was at the Summit meeting at hrothgar where Ulfric and Tullius both refer to you for your opinions and honor them no less. other than that, you could go off yourself off a cliff. no one really cares ;p

Yeah, without roleplaying I don't feel any different to any other adventurer, other than having a couple of underpowered spells with massive cooldowns. That said, slow time was a lot of fun to use, and so was unrelenting force.
