Elder Scrolls Spin-off by Obsidian? Richen or Cheapen the Se

Post » Tue Aug 28, 2012 3:41 pm

Obsidian did a great job with FO:NV - even though I prefer Fallout 3 for the atmosphere (bethesda excel at atmosphere), I wouldn't mind Bethesda contracting Obsidian to do another Spin-off style cash in game, maybe give them a bit more time and no metacritic bonus b.s. this time though.

They could do something like "Elswyr" or "Black Marsh", a game using the Skyrim Engine, but built in the vein of New Vegas, so it had the obsidian touch.

I personally could see why Bethesda would be hesitant to do this, however, I think it would richen the brand - heck they are doing ESO, why can't they do another Obsidian Spinoff like they did with New Vegas?

I have never liked a single game Obsidian has ever made. I wouldn't buy it.

Nice Idea. Fallout New vegas was just a fantastic game if you could get it work properly. I doubt it will never happen but at least we can dream.

New Vegas was better than FO3 in certain aspects.

Yay, a closed-world TES game with completely uninteresting places to visit and no respawning enemies, why not? I couldn't wait for that.
