Heartfire (questions for bethesda or moderators)

Post » Wed Aug 29, 2012 1:31 am

Hi Skyrim team,

I have few questions for you.

1. I saw that you can adopt children and have a bard in your house, but can you add a room with bed and say to all people who can be your follower to came at your house to live here? It could be nice to have all follower at one place.

2. The DLC will add a new place (map) or it will be in the original skyrim map?

3. Will you be able to create all the room or it will be default room you buy and it's adding a room to your house? (all people will have the same house?)

4. Like question 1, will you be able to say to Lydia if they can change house?

5. Will it be free? because PC have mods to have the same things.

thx to answer that and taking that into consideration for another patch ot DLC.

well im not a moderator but from the video up on gamespy i can answer one or two of those questions.
first here is the video: http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/elder-scrolls-v/1225891p1.html

1. Not sure

2. It says you will be able to buy a plot of land in skyrim. I assume this is in the original map.

3. It says you will be able to decorate the chambers as you choose. as for the room style and size I am unsure.

4. Also unsure.

The moderators don't know anything you don't know usually unless sometimes, maybe just before release.

Looking forward to this. the thing with mods is they can cause bugs. hopefully this won't I don't use player home mods for the PC due to not wanting to lose something if I have to deactivate one.

Question: Will it introduce more features than new bugs for once? :P

Nope... 400 ms points for Xbox users.. however this is pretty low compared to other DLC's, but higher than a simple add-on, so i suspect the DLC will come packed with a few extra secrets :3

I'm certainly hoping so. maybe it introduces spell creation. there was a metric butt ton of things bethesda never told us about dawnguard that was added in. the new summons. the side quests. atherial items. etc etc. im sure this one will have surprises also

If you are asking if existing followers can be asked to move into the new house you made, the answer is yes.

From official site:

? New Objectives and Interactions – Guard your home from unwanted visitors like marauding kidnappers, armed bandits, and skeever infestations. Turn almost any follower into your personal steward to improve and protect your home. Or if you require more help, hire a personal bard or carriage driver to ease the burdens of home ownership.

Very cool. It's like you've got your own little fief. I hope they can work out the bugs and release it for PS3 soon.

Yea that will likely not happen. They can't even get the base game working smothly due to their coding failures.
