I think it's a lot more "WOW" if you're on a console. Being on the PC, it's nothing really new, especially if you're a modder and can make your own house "properly" anyway.

However it has been done to a high standard (of course), and it'll be interesting to see how it pans out. It's also what a lot of players want.

But I'm glad this is the last 30 day exclusive as opposed to a bigger DLC :P

No. I'm excited about it and I think it'll add tons of enjoyment for me. The more I watch the trailer, the more details I pick up, the more excited I get. I used to spend hours at my places in Oblivion arranging things just so, so this promises to be a great deal of fun for me.

I think it's going to be awesome....I'm more excited for this than I was for dawnguard, but I'm not a big vampire or werewolf fan

Definitely not. I am quite excited for this DLC. Just curious on how it will work and what limitations there will be for creating your own home.

I wouldn't say I'm amazed, but I am excited! Hearthfire is far more interesting to me than Dawnguard (which I have not bought, and may never buy). Hearthfire, on the other hand, I will buy the day it comes out.

I'm happy for it, I have it on 360 and have 5 very different characters, I want to build a mage house and tower, a werewolf den of sorts, a vampires lair, a paladin's holy house and an assassins hideout. I'm tired of houses in cities where there's furniture in the way and bookshelves and alchemy and enchanting tables all in opposite ends of the house. Also the people ranting should shorten their posts, Every time I want to give someone the benefit of their argument I have to read a short novel so I just give up.

My opinion? How about we all just wait and see how it turns out before jumping to conclusions?

Personally, I'll probably get it once it comes out on PC. Having exhausted everything Skyrim has to offer, it would be a change of gameplay style if I could try building a house in the wilderness (I am the only one who actually would like the house being situated in the wilderness?).

Which is not extremely difficult. Any beginner with the CK can create a nice house. A REALLY NICE one if he's talented :)

I'm excited. I've often wanted a house/compound not in the cities with all the crafting elements etc. and this is giving it to us. With the possibility of adoption, it looks like your own carriage, bard etc. How could you not want what is, for all intents and purposes, your own private city? Tel Uvirith!
