Afflicted Refugee

Post » Wed Aug 29, 2012 10:58 pm

Hi all,

I have been playing since Skyrim came out, and I have 3 characters in late 40's or early 50's but I have failed to notice or failed to find a "Afflicted Refugee" on any of them.

Does anybody have any suggestions on were I might be able to find one. Or even can you share were you found one?

Thanks for your help.

PS. WOW its been ages since I posted here

If you want to find one for the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:The_Only_Cure, you don't need to. Just visit the Peryite shrine and talk to Kesh.
Otherwise, they're random encounters, no specific location.

I always find them around the Whiterun area. On the road from Riverwood to Whiterun, or the road from whiterun to Windhelm.

Ditto. Also saw one on the road from Whiterun to Rorikstead recently. (In either direction - there are encounter spawn points in both directions when you get to the turnoff at the fort past the Western Watchtower and I've seen the Afflicted at both.)

I've only met them once on, I don't know, 400-500 hours, and that was in The Rift, near the Sarethi farm.

Just go to the shrine. Way easier.
