I have the weirdest problem. I have been playing Skyrim from day 1 on my xbox. About two weeks ago the game stopped working giving me an unreadable disc error. I cleaned it etc etc and nothing worked. So today I went out and purchased a brand new copy form the store. When I put it in I got the exact same unreadable disc error. It should be noted that none of my other games have any issue with this xbox.

This made we wonder, so I took both the orginal disc and the new disc to my other xbox to try. Both played fine in the other xbox.

Any ideas as to why all of a sudden one xbox won't play any Skyrim discs. It is almost as if it had a mind of its own and I had pissed it off.

try removing all your save or moving them to a memory card/stick, and see if it will play, I believe a bad save file can cause the unreadable error
