I've been playing TES since Morrowind, so seeing those 'sixy' girls boobplates with lots of cleavage seems like a big departure from the original feel of TES. A world where armor is functional and not just eye cand. Anyone who does historical re-enactment will tell you that the so called 'boobplates' are actually detrimental, as they pose a danger to the wearer and might do some spine damage and so on, should the person fall or be hit in certain ways. Not to mention that it must be tailored for each individual because of the front piece, unlike regular armor which might be worn by more people.

I would really appreciate if the armor were like in all the other TES games - practical and not trying to simply show off briasts/other parts of the female body. After all, women look gorgeous in regular armor as well and there isn't a reason why TES should try these cheap tricks. Instead when I see all these half-naked girls in games like Diablo 3, TESO screenshots, Terra and whatever you can think of, it's really uncomfortable because I just feel like they are being sold just to cater to an immature audience. This has always been a staple of the Elder Scrolls series, so why give the female characters scanty, useless clothing mixed with armor now? Especially while male characters get all the awesome, spiky armor where you can hardly see the person's face because they're so much covered in it. It just makes the players feel like the new developers are moving away from the feel of TES even more, which certainly doesn't help since we are supposed to be your core crowd, aren't we?

When I pick a female character or see one, I don't want to feel like they are about to go to a cosplay beach party. I want to have real, functional armor like the male characters do.

So please don't try to turn female characters into simple eye candy just because it's a popular thing to do nowadays. Women want to have awesome armor too, they don't want to look like pormstars.

If you still go through with this idea, then be fair and do the same for the male armor.

I doubt that we'll be seeing the females in ESO being plastered in lingerie and 'show-off clothing'. I expect that the developers will continue with the tradition of not making the armour look all 'sixy' as you said. Other MMOs have followed the ways of making their female armours 'sixy' as that's what quite a lot of gamers want, however I don't feel that doing that with a TES game is really a great idea.

Overall, I agree with you - but I don't doubt that it the developers will avoid 'sixy armours', and I hope they do.

Women have boobplates in Skyrim (not all the armor, but whos to say that all the women have it in TESO)
ex: ancient Nord armor. all the armor is also very form fitting

No really. Please stick to the TES series on that. "nipble rings of great protection" are for other games, I thought it mature and realistic that in
TES titles females would wear normal armor and I enjoyed that.

I'll take it you skipped out on Skyrim... Whatever you may believe female armor in ESO should look like, this is something that happens in every game, every film, all forms of entertainment in general. Believe it or not, but people actually do like the way the female body looks, especially when it's being shown off in gear.

If that is a game breaker for you then I am truly sorry. I can guarantee you though that the gear is not going to change. But who really cares about the gear anyways? What makes people interested in TES is the lore, exploration, and having the ability to do what one wants. I don't really care what the person next to me is wearing as that is irrelevant in the larger scheme of things.
