UNIQUE TAVERNS

Old Hroldan Inn

The overall goal of this project is to revamp all the taverns in Skyrim that are just copies of each other, and to give each tavern a unique atmosphere and character of it's own that blends with it's surrounding environment and history.

So far, 'Dead Man's Drink' located in Falkreath, 'Nightgate Inn' and 'Four Shields Tavern' in Dragon Bridge have been done. More taverns will be added over time. Initially the aim is to revamp the interiors and add NPCs, new dialog and bard songs will be added later.

So the Old Hroldan Inn.....I could spend a very long time revamping and adding to this inn, it has massive potential. I can certainly see where the developers wanted to take it and would have if they had not been limited to copy/paste interiors.

This inn is a place that has stood for centuries....out there in the lonely, cold, desolate, wind swept wilderness. Over the centuries wars have been fought, murders commited, atrocities of all kinds enacted within the surrounding area and even within the building itself. This inn has a very gruesome past. Over the centuries parts of the building have been modified or even closed off and forgotten. So there are hidden passages and areas.

This inn will be the first Unique Tavern to actually have a proper kitchen, complete with crotchety old cook. The interior is fairly large and will have about four rooms upstairs, including the revamped Tiber Septim room which is a little more impressive now.

Outside there are stables to protect your horse from the trolls that live in the surrounding hills.

The inn does have two balconies as well.

Anyway, things are well underway with the exterior just about done and quite a lot of interior done. I will have pictures to show of the interior soon. In the meantime, http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n99/Shezrie/ScreenShot1010.jpg

I like your work, Meek :)

What about making this one a stone building, since it's been around for so long...

Because the textures appear warped on the exteriors of the farmhouse buildings, except for wood planks, and I have no idea how to fix that.
