Best expansion to a game...?

I have not payed much money for many DLCs, but the favorite one from my experience of expansion packs, DLC, whatever you wish to call it, would probably have to be Broken Steel from Fallout 3.

Dead Money was my favorite New Vegas DLC. Annoying at times ([censored] bear traps), but fantastic atmosphere, interesting characters and plot. Though I think I only liked it as much as I did because of a certain piece of fanfiction.
Oh yes, Dead Money was very nice. You can tell it's Chris Avellone who wrote those weird characters you're teaming up with, the whole thing reminded me of Planescape Torment several times. Which is definitely a good thing.

I liked all New Vegas DLC, really. Even Lonesome Road which many people don't seem to like because it's more combat focused than the rest.

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusades.... Back when wow was perfect, all the other expansions after that were garbage.
a good second would be Lonesome Road

Hmm ill just list some.
Dead Money
Shivering Isles
Bloodmoon
Tribunal
Dragon Age: Origins: Awakening.
Broken Steel
Old World Blue

I will say BGS usually does one thing right. That is Expansions. DLC not so much.

I liked Lonesome road too. I didn't particularly like having all the morality force fed to me, but the combat was fun and there was a good deal of cool equipment to be had.

I wasn't fond of Old World Blues as much. It was too silly for me, while the rest of the game took itself pretty seriously. There was a lot of content for the money, though, so I'd still rate it highly compared to some of the DLC produced for other games.

The shivering isles for sure, added a much needed weirdness into oblivion.
I also liked the awakening dlc for da:o, granted i got it bundled with the game so i can't comment on price, its just a shame they said my choices with the dwarf (oghrim?) didn't mean squat and he is still just a dumb drunk.
All the dlc of fallout nv was great, and they tied into each other which i think alot of other games should take note on.

And an honorable mention of the gta expansion of the lost and the damned, had a lot of fun running around as a biker.

Really most games don't have expansion packs anymore, which kinda svcks. The best you get are little four to five hour dlc

Yep, me too... loved it, but found Dead Money best

Also Shivering Isles.... and I really liked Undead Nightmare => RDR

Edit Ps: i just bought GTA 4 & DLCs just to play the DLCs... and also the main game, but that's not why i bought it.
