I think we've seen similar statistics, but not that website. Thanks for posting.
I'm a bit surprised by the platform sales stats, to be honest. I didn't think the Xbox sales would be so overwhelming!

And PC so underwhelming - don't think it includes any Steam or download sales?

Probably not. Perhaps those statistics would even out the PC and Xbox?

Doubtful. Console players are much more numerous then PC players, its just on the internet they are far more vocal.

Steam doesn't release sale numbers, and I don't think Bethesda released specific platform sales.
Also they released the overall sale numbers a good 4-5 months ago. I suspect allot of people bought the game on the steam summer sale.

True, but Steam is the most popular digital distribution service for PC out there, in fact, it most likely would have sold more on steam than it would have in hard copies.

I don't believe only 1.4 million copies were sold on PC. Don't forget all the pirated copies out there.

Keep in mind that these numbers don't include those sold on Steam.

^exactly. only a small margin of PC owners still purchase retail copies of PC games.

How much in dollars was Skyrim at release? $450 million takings and 7 million units, that's roughly $64.29. I assume it was different, so you can work out non-reported steam sales in the first week.

[Oh, and if you double the PC figures, that still leaves 52% for Xbox.]
