They ate all the jarrin root and died.

So THAT'S why we only get one during the entire game!

Some say it was somehow attributed to the effects of Red Mountain exploding, others thought that maybe an as yet unknown disease was targeting them, but after the Oblivion Crisis, adventurers started to report fewer and fewer ogres in the wilds. By 4e 130, they were expected to be all but extinct.

Thank you, it's a little closure.
Perhaps conserving them shall be my new goal!

The entire ogre race started an intensive weight loss program, and now look exactly like the average Skyrim troll. The steroids from their weight loss program caused them to grow a third eye and green body hair.

There once was an Ogre who angered a powerful hagraven. In a fit of rage she cursed all Ogres in Skyrim. You know all those bunnies hopping around Skyrim? Yep. Ogres.

I'd buy this, along with an Orsinium DLC featuring a preserve-the-orges side plot. Malacath will not abandoned the outcasts!

The Aldmeri Dominion would like to inform you that we did not conscript them into our armies as slave soldiers like we are accused of with goblins and daedra.

Do not think otherwise. All died from a plague.

Given the prevalance of giants in Skyrim, I would imagine another aggressive large humanoid would not have been welcomed and would have been sent via bargain air freight back to where they came from..;)
